Brass Connection Band was started in 2010 under the direction of Micheal Taylor and William "Biggs" Smothers. The two form the group in hopes to inspire there Charlotte NC community at a time in the recession when jobs were very scarce. The group consist of family members ranging from 15 to 53. Brass Connection Band is known for there live and energetic street performances playing in New York's (Central Park), Washington DC (Gallery Place Chinatown, Dupont Circle, Le'faunt Plaza) Wilmington NC (Boardwalk), Atlanta GA (Aquarium) and a host of Tailgate parties, weddings and private events. The groups song selection will also grab a music lovers attention with hits from the 70's to present. Our performance platform consist of:
