Muswell Hill's brass band since 2011

 

We founded Muswell Hill Brass in May 2011, establishing what was the first ever brass band in London N10.

 

Our main rehearsal base on Wednesday evenings is Muswell Hill Methodist Church in Pages Lane. We also a flexible session on Monday evenings at The Muswell Hill Centre, just off The Broadway in Hillfield Park, to which all players from the North London Brass Network are welcome.

 

We provide equal access to professional music coaching for all people in and connected with the community in Muswell Hill and the London Borough of Haringey.

 

Our work is made possible through support from the Barbara Stogden Music Foundation (Charity Commission Number 1154826) and through our affiliation with North London Brass Network.

 

We provide comprehensive and unparalleled professional instrumental coaching, from beginner to advanced levels.

Come and play with us

 

A traditional British brass band, like Muswell Hill Brass, consists of cornets, flugelhorn, tenor horns, baritone horns, trombones, euphoniums, basses (tubas) and percussion. We are currently recruiting to all sections of the band.

 

If you are a player with some existing experience in any genre and can read music to a basic level, you are welcome to come and try our main band session on Wednesday evenings, which runs 8.00pm to 10.00pm at:

If you are a learner player and would like more help with the basics, you are welcome to come and join us at our easier sessions on Monday evenings, which run 8.00pm to 9.45pm at:

We work with people at all stages in their musical journeys. We welcome new players and do not require minimum grades or auditions.
