We are an elite corps of belonging in Sola. Exercise Our premises are on Tanager Culture Station where also the school band is. Annually corps SiddisBrass and NM in the Hall. Concerts and various activities we have throughout the season

Sola Brass Band was founded in August 1984 as a recruiting corps to Stavanger Brass Band, but a year later chose corps to secede to stand on its own. Sola Brass Band belongs in Sola Municipality and habitually rehearsal room in Tanager Culture Station (Old Haga school), which today serves as the "Culture Station" for many of the municipality's cultural actors.

Having been at the top of the 1st divisjoen in Norway within our music branch with solid results, Sola Brass Band since 2009 established itself well in the Elite Division. Members, ranging in age from 18 to 50 years, consists of everything from young and hungry students, to well seasoned ring foxes. Corps chief conductor Jacob Vilhelm Larsen.

Our activities involve multiple tasks within the band movement, either as full corps, in smaller groups, together with others or alone. We organize seminars, meetings, concerts, relieve school band in the municipality of instruction and play teaching, and in all activities within music movement.But we forget of course it does not have its own arrangements for snuggling us members themselves or with others. We are an offer for those who want to play in a band at a rather high amateur level. Corps acting both locally and nationally.
