The band was founded in 1928, with not one of the 30 volunteer villagers being able to even produce a note on a brass instrument. Over 80 years later we are still going strong.Currently we are a 3rd section band, but are working our way back up to the 2nd section under the direction of James Burns. The band is one of the busiest in the area, working throughout the year with a few contests and many engagements particularly in the summer season; where we can be found weekly, for over 50 years at the Princess Pavillions, Falmouth on Sunday evenings.

We pride ourselves as being a friendly band, always welcoming new faces into the fold. Rehearsals are Monday and Wednesday evenings 7.30 - 9.30. Even if you are down here on your holidays we would love to see you up at the bandroom for a toot, just send us a message!
