Trans Siberian March Band

Formed in London in 2007, the band is a colourful explosion of flamboyant, high energy performances and musical miscellany. As well as originals, the mix includes traditional Balkan, Klezmer, Turkish, Russian and Gypsy tunes, with a hint of hip hop. This is music to dance to!

TSMB is a fearsome blend of clarinets, brass, percussion and vocals. Highlights from its strange and wonderful history include shows at Glastonbury, the Royal Albert Hall, WOMAD, Kensington Palace, HMV Forum and The Roundhouse, as well as recording at Abbey Road and Air Studios.

Always open to adventure, TSMB enjoy a unique collaboration project with DJ Yoda which has proved a firm festival favourite. The band also curates a series of events, holding a residency at Shoreditch arts hub Rich Mix. Each month, TSMB host a free night including a guest band plus workshops, DJs, talks, food, and plenty more to brighten your Wednesday evenings.
